Parking in Vail

Drop off/Unloading Only

There is drop off/unloading area at the Gold Peak Lodge.  It is located where the Valet Parking is.  It is very convenient to drop off the athletes and then go and park your car elsewhere.

 

Manor Vail Parking Lot

Manor Vail has daily parking for a fee.  These are on a first come basis.  They charge $25+ depending on the demand.  Getting there early in the morning usually gets you a lower price. 

 

Vail Parking Structure Rates

The daily rates for close-in structured parking in Vail Village and Lionshead are:

 

HOURLY RATES

-0 to 2 hours Free!

-2 to 3 hours $15

-3 to 4 hours $20

-4 to 24 hours $25 all day cap

-Arrive after 3pm for free parking in both structures until 3am

-Arrivals from 1pm until 3pm will be charged $15.00

 

Vail Village Parking Structure is the closer Town of Vail Parking to Gold Peak.  It is approximately a 5 minute walk.

 

Gold Peak Valet

Free Outlying Parking - Vail 7am-11pm

All areas listed below are serviced by the existing Town of Vail transportation system. Bus frequency varies from 15 minutes during peak times to 1 hour during non-peak times.

  • Red Sandstone Park, 15 spaces. Available 7 days a week starting Jan. 1.

  • North Frontage Road in West Vail, across from West Vail Mall, 70 spaces. Available 7 days a week. For directions, call (970) 479-2104.

  • North Frontage Road in West Vail, west of west Vail roundabout, 100 spaces. Available Fri., Sat. and Sun. only.

Additional trailhead parking available daily at Gore Creek Trailhead, East Vail Interchange Trailhead, Pitkin Creek Trailhead, Booth Falls Trailhead, North Trail Spraddle Creek Trailhead, North Trail Red Sandstone Creek Trailhead, North Trail Buffehr Creek Trailhead and North Trail Davos Trailhead. Parking availability at trailhead is limited and some spaces are restricted to three-hour trailhead use.

 

Donovan Park - Vail 7am-11pm

Free parking is available at Donovan Park, located at 1600 South Frontage Rd., with 90 spaces on days when the pavilion isn’t in use. A sign will be used at the park’s entrance to indicate availability each day. The parking area is serviced by the Matterhorn bus stop, which is located west of the park at the intersection of Matterhorn Circle and West Gore Creek Drive. The West Vail Red transit line services this bus stop to the Lionshead base area with service on the hour and half hour.

Parking in Beaver Creek

Parking is available at the Elk & Bear lots at the bottom of Beaver Creek Mountain for $10 and a shuttle will depart from each lot and take you to the base of the mountain.  There is a skier drop off zone at the base of Beaver Creek just past the Shuttle bus turn around. Parking is available at the base of the mountain at $35 per day.  (No vans with racks in pay parking).

 

Another alternative is to park for FREE in Avon, and catch the FREE Skier Express bus from Avon to Beaver Creek!!!
